Come along with me - babies hatching + IDing

Hey y’all! I’ve done a couple of threads like this before and they have been popular, so I figured I’d bring y’all along on this adventure. I have a clutch right now hatching. 6 eggs, and the pairing was a cinnamon probable fractal (het monsoon) het pied male X banana pied het clown female. This is my first time producing pieds and also my first time breeding this probable fractal male, so as a result I will likely be shed testing babies and figured I would bring y’all along.

For now, here are the parents:

Dad: Hades (cinnamon probable fractal (het monsoon) het pied

Mom: Pandora (banana pied het clown)

And here’s a couple of pictures of the first baby out and the first other one sticking its head out! Both pieds from the looks of it.

The really interesting thing about this clutch so far is the odds. Only one officially out of the egg so far, but based on what I’m seeing in the egg I only see one banana in the whole clutch and NO cinnamons. I’m not complaining, I was planning to breed the cinnamon out anyway, but odd how that goes sometimes.

Congrats on the little ones, whatever they may be! I’m not gonna venture into BP ID. But I am happy to admire the pretty dam, handsome sire, and darling babies.

Wow, dad looks so neat. I didn’t realize the cinny het pied can get that bit of wonkiness from fractal/het monsoon. Assuming he proves out on shed tests obviously.

Oooh their dad is really nice looking. I also love the high-white Pieds but they are hard to ID :smiling_face_with_tear:

Cute little babies nonetheless
