I know. I was more so thinking that since it isn’t really feasible to keep all of them, then it would beneficial to provide the opportunity to people who do want to give a shot at establishing a captive population of them
Right now it’s because it’s the best option of getting rid of them all as soon as I can. This was a stumbled upon some eggs, kind of a thing. As of current, I’ve really only noticed people want males. And I haven’t gotten any attention with people wanting to breed them so that’s why I’m doing that. It might be something a couple years down the line where people want to try to produce them more readily, but who knows?
Also, I am going to be giving them away. I might have people pay for the shipping but I didn’t try to find these, so I would be going about it like that.
And remember temperature sexing does not always guarantee 100% results. I still might get a few females in the mix. And then if people want to, they could take a pair.
I guess I’ll pop in and say I’d consider a pair if you happen to end up with a couple females.
But let’s not count the eggies before they hatch I suppose? Hahah
Ok, I will keep that in mind . And yeah, I agree…let’s wait and see if they hatch out.
Awesome find best of luck! Sadly i dont have space for more lizards atm, ill have to settle for just my butterfly agamas xD, but the male rainbows do look awesome!
Sorry Riley I never saw this. How’s incubation going?
We are still good…I had to toss one due to it becoming black and smelling.
How many days do agama eggs generally take to hatch?
I think its around 9 weeks but then agama, i could be wrong…lol
I was reading anywhere from 2 1/2 months anywhere upwards to 4 months. They were brand new when I found them…like she was actively laying them. So we will see.
Oh yeah then you still have a lot of time to watch paint dry
Yeah lol
Good to know that they’re still progressing! Such an totally cool thing to find.
