He’s gorgeous! Looks like he has a bit of a metallic thing going on there. Is that my screen or is it for realsies?
More cuties! How many are in this clutch? Looks like 16 maybe?
It’s for real. There’s definitely an ashy-silver cast to these guys. Maybe won’t look like that after shed.
Thanks Caryl! My records say 20, but I might’ve missed one in the clump.
6 are out, and 9 or 10 were pipping last check. I also have first pip from a Sunkissed clutch.
These were the two that came out overnight. Popping girls for now. Pine and Cyprus.
That’s intriguing. I am a big fan of the metallic stuff.
Pine has such rich, deep coloring! She’s my favorite so far.
This Shatter Stripe I made last year is pretty darned metallic. I didn’t hybridize with Baird’s, I swear!
I love these babies! And I’m so glad this clutch is going better than the last one.
Me too. It’s nice to be excited when one is out instead of apprehensive.
Ooooh, nice! I’ve been smooshing breeding plans around. Might need a new snake … because who doesn’t?
Very much yes! It’s great that these babies are emerging healthy and hale!
I am so glad that this clutch is turning out so much better than the last one @deanaii! As with @caryl’s and @solarserpents’s, I can’t pick a favorite!!!
Agreed, between the three of them, I’m like 90% percent I’m going to end up with a corn snake
Corn’s really do make great first time owner snakes!
So I’ve heard! They’re sooo pretty too, the Tesseras… I need.
I find they make great 348th-time owner snakes too.
Beat me to it, Dean!! Corns are completely and totally awesome any time, all the time. I love their personalities, and there really is a morph for everyone. No, that’s not right. With all the possible variety of color and pattern, there are at least a couple dozen morphs for everyone!
I’m not going to post every emergent right now, but I liked this presumed female Tessera Bloodred a lot. Beech.
