I am guessing you will get 12 bantams! Hopefully this clutch goes smoothly!

Thanks! I’m hoping I can ID them early. But the expression level grows with the snake, so it may take longer than I like.

First one out from the Bantam/Shatter clutch. Miami-Honey female. Mooshu.

Second out is a male Shatter. Maybe Caramel too.

Thanks Caron!

(And thanks Olivia for helping me evaluate for Bantam for a second season.)

That second one, Wonton, is so dark! Wonder what he’ll look like after a shed.

Do you see any Bantams?

There are only two out. Olivia measured them for me and they’re short, I think. 11” (6.7g) and 10.3” (6.1g). But nothing visually jumps out yet.

Those seem like pretty typical lengths for those weights. I dunno, though. I admit that I don’t usually measure babies’ length, though I weigh them often.

Man, I love the look of them because I am boa person. I hope that it proves to be genetic and reproducible with no health issues. Definitely would get one in the future if so.

I’m measuring mine as well that are the same weights. Mine are over 12 inches. I believe the average for newly hatched corns is typically 12-14 inches.

Interesting. I measured a few last week for someone and they were 10-12".

It might vary more than I realize. I don’t usually measure length on mine either, but in this case, I’m going to measure a few of mine that are the same weights as his to have a better baseline.

Now I’m really curious. Lol. I have a feeling I’ll be measuring more of mine.
