Here is my corn snake named Blaze. My oldest son got Blaze when he was a newborn baby in 2010. So that makes him 13 years old now. He has been passed down to two other of my kids, but neither really wants to take care of him. So he is officially mine now even though I am the one who’s been taking care of him most of his life. I was told he is a striped sunglow.
He is very nice to have around for when I have extra rat pups thawed out for baby boas that won’t eat. He is a garbage can, just like my retic for the large rats. Both never refuse a meal.
I have always loved Blaze’s colors. Someday, I hope to make a boa with the same colors.
I love this! It sounds like the kind of thing which happens in so many families. Blaze is fortunate that you are his safety net. Very nice pics, thanks for sharing!
We can never have too many pictures of beautiful snakes and @tommccarthy you have a gorgeous corn snake there! His colors are so creamy looking! If you produce a boa with that color holy cow!
