Sorry I’m new at leopard gecko morphs, trying to swap some of my ball pythons for them. Is the identification correct? This is the only thing the seller sent me.
It definitely looks correct from the record…
The downside is just that it’s probably not a very well managed outcrossing of the ‘Blood’ line of leopard geckos. It’s a beautiful gecko. But the darker tangerines and oranges of the Blood line have been watered down by the outcross.
Blood is a line bred traits and needs to be closely managed to produce the best results.
As a hypo, the PH raptor would be nice … But if mom was only proven to be het for Eclipse then you still don’t know if this gecko is 100% carrying albino and eclipse.
Realistically, I would just see this as a very nice electric line hypo from blood cross lines possible w&y. If you prove out albino or eclipse that’s a great bonus. But the odds are not in your favor.
As an aside… I also am just a bit wary of it looking like this animal is on a rooftop somewhere and almost looks like a swap meet sort of setup…but that’s just me being overly cautious. It could just be the owner’s yard and cleaning day.
