Crestie won’t eat

I’m a first time crested gecko owner, and my 6 month old crested gecko won’t eat on her own. I hand fed her yesterday for the first time and she ate 2 crickets and a tad of Pangea. I left food in her ledge and she didn’t touch it. I hand fed her (dipped her food on a little spoon) again tonight some Pangea and she ate a little bit. I’m worried she’s not eating out of her ledge at all. What do you recommend I do to make sure she starts eating out of her ledge ?

It’s completely normal for them to not eat for upwards of a month when you first get them home. Most commonly it takes them a week or two. It’s very stressful for them to move to a new environment, so they need time to acclimate. So for now, i would leave her completely alone, and only really interact with her tank when you mist, and change her food and water. Only feed her CGD for now, until you can see that she’s eating on her own.
