So i just finally fed Quetzalcoatl, and she’s outta blue and alert but there’s one thing. Right after the feeding she stared to shed but shes outta blue. It was like a delayed shedding, what do you guys think
btw heres her shed

Snakes blue before shedding, and are no longer blue when they actually start shedding. Instead they just look really dull.
Ohhhhh okay thank you, first time snake owner
Yeah, that’s a super common question from new snake owners. They go ‘blue’, then they go ‘clear’. And then they shed within a few days of being in the clear phase.
You need to take feeding seriously. It’s been a week since you’ve first got her and since you attempted feeding and she refused you should’ve waited another week. There’s nothing you can do now but in the future you should give a new purchase a chance to settle in before handling or feeding.
Both digesting and shedding take moisture, so if both occur at the same time both will take longer. As mentioned above snakes go out of blue right before they actually shed.
