Does anyone know if darker or lighter babies tend to grow into more stunning adults?

It highly depends on the quality of the parents that produced it, just like with other Morelia.

The parents are very high quality pure diamonds. I don’t want to post pics on here of them and the offspring as they’re the sellers photos and have not asked permission

I personally would find out what difference was between the baby colors of the parents and what they are now. also, how old are the animals that you’re trying to buy? If they’re old enough they’ve had their color change. Just something to consider. I though like contrast so look at that…compare the “diamonds” with the background color. I am kinda leaning towards the super dark baby with high white specking.
