Has anybody kept diving beetles? I’ve been looking into buying a few species (sunburst, green, and black diving beetle) to keep and attempt to breed and found a place where I can get them. Does anybody have advice on how to keep these? I think all that’s required is keeping them in a 32oz deli cup with dechlorinated water individually and put a couple together for a little while and hope to get a 1.1 pair. They should lay eggs and I can raise the larvae in their own deli cups. The larvae and adults would get 100% water changes a couple times a week. I would feed them fish food and small insects (like fruit flies and small mealworms/dubias/crickets).
