Hi! So I’ve become interested in maybe breeding and selling Leos. Do you need a license to sell Leopard Geckos in Illinois? Or do you need a license if your making a lot of money? I need help! Thanks!!

No. Illinois only requires permits for endangered and venomous animals. I live in Illinois and have bred a lot of leopard geckos. The government does not regulate this at all unless you have been reported for neglecting or abusing your animals, or some kind of health complaint due to unsanitary conditions.
