Okay so my pairing is male super enchi banana to a super enchi mystic who has just ovulated. I’m just wondering if anyone has photos of a super enchi mystic banana as I’m struggling to find any without other genes please?
I’m not finding any that had been sold with mystic or phantom. I did find this one with super enchi banana and Mojave.
Mystic/phantom are the same gene. Mojave can be a bit difficult to ID from them because they can look so similar in single gene form. So in theory, the potential offspring may look something like this.
Thank you very much
I didn’t know mojave and mystic were that close in resemblance.
A high quality and expression mystic can be difficult to tell apart. Or when they’re in a combo with some genes. A mystic pinstripe looks very much like a Mojave pinstripe for example.
Over time little polygenic quirks made it a bit easier to tell them apart as mystic started to lean towards darker more classic/normal tones and less of the desert color of Mojave. But it can still be difficult in some pairings.
This is the female possible ovulation super enchi mystic (please ignore the blue roll I ran out of lignocel ).
Would it be possible to mark the indicators or is it just darker tones please?
Hi , thought I’d update people the lovely girl laid 8 eggs this morning all with strong veins
I’m really excited about this clutch.
Oh man those guys are stellar! Congrats to you!
Thank you very much we’re super happy with these little ones ![]()
Wow, stunning clutch! Beautiful noodles.
Thank you very much ![]()
But we still can’t figure out if any of the bananas have mystic in them or super enchi
All of the offspring would be super enchi. It’s impossible for them to have only one copy unless one of the parents is not actually a super.
The second banana looks like they would be the most likely mystic candidate to me.
You could always consider having them shed tested for it
Thank you very much I’ll look into getting them all tested ![]()
