How long has it been since she ate? She definitely looks gravid in that first pic unless thats just from a big meal.

Massively gravid.

That almost triangular shape is a pretty good tell she’s gravid.

Her last meal was Saturday and was only a medium as my order was messed up and got sent 2 packs of medium instead of 1 large and 1 medium
Iv been feeding her every 7 days as a breeder recommended to feed more frequently
I really do hope she is
the last 5 weeks have really dragged

Fingers crossed she is

Time really does drag when you’re excited! Just wait until the eggs are here, though. Waiting for pipping REALLY drags!

Iv had people on facebook telling me shes not as she has no scale spread
Makes me doubt if she is or im just seeing what i want to see

Scale spread isn’t the most significant sign that a snake is gravid, and plus I can absolutely see it in the first and second photo you shared, not sure why those people were saying that…

Seeing that she has shed for you Saturday, you should expect eggs anywhere from today to a week from now.

Sorry shes not shed yet  started on saturday and eyes cleared up Wednesday/Thursday so im expecting a shed any day

That’s a good reason to stay away from facebook as well as Reddit for reptile advice, or ANY advice for that matter!:tired_face::tired_face::tired_face:

I’m just not a fan of any social media but here….

I second this. Although, I am finally learning to weed out the helpful FB people from the not-so-helpful people. It helps me grow a spine by just not taking it personally and letting it bounce off.

But to any newbie, for SURE trust the people on here LONG before you trust the people on FB.

Ok yeah then you should expect eggs anywhere from a fed days to maybe 2 weeks poat-shed.

Im quickly learning that had someone tell me i was underfeeding one of my hognoses shes 9 months 60g being fed a hopper every 6/7 days they said i should feed 2 hoppers ever 4/5 days that would be close to a 3rd of her body weight

Thank you very exciting times

I’m no expert but she looks tail heavy which in my snake was only visual sign of pregnancy . If you weighed her before the lock and after, there would be also significant weight gain , mine got 20 gram in two weeks .
