Maybe we will see some faces?
Faces would be nice, wouldn’t they? We’re going to have to wait though. These eggs are still just eggs. When I went to close the curtains in the snake room just now, I glared at them & told them I’d appreciate it if they’d get a move on. They just sat there stoically and took it.
Five days from the original post, soooo…Any developments yet?
That was the first thought on my head when I awoke this morning. I eagerly headed for the snake room to check and found— nothin’. Still eggs.
I did give them few sharp pointers about how Leaky had leaked for five days before anybody pipped. I’ve no idea how well they listened.
Well there’s still plenty of time left in the day for them to get the memo.
This is true. My babies this season have pipped at all hours. Fingers crossed.
Night time check in, any changes?
Not as of sunset when I closed the curtains. I’ll check again before I turn in for the night. I don’t think they listened very well when I said that they ought to be pipping today, based on the official timetable established by Leaky.
Perhaps they are just intimidated? Big scales to fill.
Haha yeah, maybe that’s it!
My morning update is that there’s nothing to update. Sigh.
Waiting patiently in hopes night check is the winner.
I literally just walked out of the snake room. Eggs is eggs and nothin’ but eggs. Maybe tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow.
They’re really keeping you waiting!
It certainly feels that way. Today is day 69, so certainly not super late as such things go. The bit of a leak from last week appears to have stopped. I don’t know what that means. I wish they’d get on with pipping!
No more leak, at least here, meant hatching was approaching.
Hoping your experience will be replicated here quite soon. No change overnight. I will be out of pocket today. Maybe when I have s chance to check again, somebody will be peeking out.
And it’s another non-pipping night. So far. Sigh.
Perhaps they are feeling watched?
They’re not wrong.
They’re also still remaining “indoors.” Today feels propitious, though. Maybe today’s P- day.
