Dropped tail

yea these things happen… One of my babies threw it’s tail. I got a pic. LEO is fine

Interesting picture! I wonder if those are the muscle fibers or fat that is stored within the tail?

The structure and mechanism in which they drop their tail to technically escape predators unharmed is exactly the same as Cresties (if you did not mention it was a leo it would have fooled me)
