Hello… im new to this community… i just lost 7 eggs today. Not feeling good… every website i went to shows everything i did , but eggs didnt make it. There was no humidity on top of inside box , only on the sides… i put extra water , cotton balls even cut small pieces of sponge and nothing… now i have 11 eggs from my albino female but again no humidity only on the sides… PLEASE HELP!!!

This is a pretty old thread. It may be best to make a new post with photos so we can see what everything looks like. How did you set up the egg box? Also information on the temps and humidity inside the egg box. What kind of incubator is it?

Ideally you don’t want condensed water on top because if it drips on the eggs it can cause problems. Having droplets on the side of the container means you do have humidity in the box. Did your eggs dry out or did they mold over?

i keep a tray of water with water crystals made for plants in the incubator. keeps the entire incubator humid so the perlite+water in egg container doesn’t have to work so hard keeping humidity.
