Awesome, can’t wait for clutch pictures. Is that maternal incubation? Out of curiosity what do you think the benefits to it are and what are your experiences with it?

Congrats. I’m 3 in and girls shedding all over the place.
erie-herps In my experience I don’t believe there are any “benefits” to maternal incubation beyond the witnessing a part of nature that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to see.
It’s harder on the females and you can be more assured and in control of the environmental conditions in an incubator. IMO

@snaxxs and @saleengrinch, that’s what I thought and I agree. However, if there is a breeder trying MI then I always want to know why they’re doing it so I can learn more about the pros and cons of it.
