In Western hognose (listings and genetic calculator), “Extreme red” is paired with albino. Extreme red is a polygenic, line-bred trait. It may be paired with albino (or other traits), but it is not always with albino. In genetic calculators, this has the consequence of offspring from extreme red parents being possibly het, which they cannot be given the genetics.
