You see this a lot in the ball python category where a snake is listed as either one more OR another, but the breeder/seller isn’t sure which. Examples: het clown or het cryptic, yellow belly or specter, etc. It would be useful if sellers could indicate this in their posting so that, for those of us specifically looking for one of those morphs (but who do NOT want the other), these listings are either easily identifiable or else we are able to filter them out if we want.
You already can filter out the ones that are listed as both. Just put the unwanted genes into the excluded spot and any of the ads marked with it won’t pop up.
That said… I don’t know how they would implement it, but it would be nice to have a visual indication other than the breeder posting ‘/’ and ‘or’ in those cases. But then again there is a ‘possible het’ tag for recessives and sometimes people still think that it means they’re guaranteed to have that gene. 
I’ve also seen people say their animal is both when clearly listed as an x or y and obviously a single gene.

That always trips me up when the snake is listed as Asphalt or Yellowbelly, which then the seller selects both traits as classification. So when I search for Freeway I get those that also are only one trait or the other. It’s probably tough to remedy but I totally get it
