That is the same twitch you can observe when a male is paired with a female so nothing I would worry about.

I had one of my male go off feed for 4 months.

Almost tied you. My male hognose went 4 days shy of 4 months. Finally ate Dec 15th. Lost over 10% of his body mass. Was in the process of looking for a vet that had experience with tube feeding when he just decided to end his fast. Love that little guy!
