Pairing was Banana Fire het Pied male to a visible Pied female. Wondering what anyone thinks these 2 hatchling are. Thanks for your opinions.

I thought I was seeing Enchi and pastel and now seeing parents I’m not. So strange! Both beautiful and I can defo see fire in the second. Maybe that’s what’s messing the patterning up so much also!

First one is a banana fire. Second one could be banana firefly. Be easier to tell once it sheds. The adult banana looks banana firefly to me too.

Thanks for the input, most people are thinking the first one is Banana het Pied, & the second one Banana Fire het Pied.
You think the opposite way around?

The first one has fire looking saddles and none of dorsal patterning that I would expect on a single gene banana. Your adult banana also appears to have pastel patterning which is why I think firefly. Go on world of balls and look at firefly vs fire with no banana. Compare that to your adult banana.

Do you think that being het pied would affect the pattern ? I’m not really sure .

The first baby clearly has the saddle pattern of a fire. Banana is just a color filter. If it was a normal it would have more orange, dorsal patterning, and some degree of alien heads. The first thing I think looking at your adult banana is the pattern looks pastel.

These are a fire and sulfur. Notice the pattern reduction and the saddle pattern?
These are all normal bananas notice how busy the patterns are compared to your first picture?

No. Pastel has a busy pattern. Just like your banana does. Fire is a banded/reduced pattern morph. This is why I think your banana is probably a firefly not a banana fire. Firefly’s have a pastel like pattern typically. Remember all banana does is change the color, not the pattern. The first baby is not a normal banana and it does not have pastel. It’s banded.

I’m not sure on firefly in babies, I see Enchi myself still. 
But dad does look like he has firefly patterning.
This is my Enchi firefly and then this is my banana. So you see why why your banana looks like it has the firefly patterning? What else did you produce?

I only had the two hatch out.
I had a power outage for 18 hours and my incubator Temps dropped.
Lucky that these guys hatched out at all.
