LOL! Well he is an adorable, beautiful boy! I love the partial scaling on this type of snake, it makes them look jeweled. I feel like rat/corn snakes and House snakes suit a similar pet niche, just house snakes are nocturnal and pythony, and rat/corns are diurnal and colubrid, but they feel like two sides of a same… category if you will.
I went planning on getting a corn snake but found him for a good price and his personality was exactly what I was looking for. And since the care is almost identical I ended up walking out with something I was not even considering while walking in
Had Elmo for a bit over a year now! He’s grow a ton even though I am feeding him once every 2-4 weeks (I feed randomly, not in a schedule). I believe he was around 70 grams when I got him and is around 225-250 now.
