Does anyone on here join in on the Burmese python hunting? or does anyone have good sources or information on how the program works, how to join the hunt, and what their rules and regulations are? or has anyone joined the hunt and care to share stories or what the experience was like?
I’ve been super curious about it and have been wanting to make a trip to Florida but I want to find legit sources on information.
And no, I have nothing against Burmese pythons. I own a normal male myself! i’m just all about the experience and find it fascinating and necessary!
Thanks~
Pythons can be humanely killed on private lands at any time with landowner permission - no permit required- and the FWC encourages people to remove and kill pythons from private lands whenever possible. Pythons may also be killed at any time throughout the year from 22 Wildlife Management Areas,

so as long as we ask landowners we are allowed to remove as many as we can? how do they want us to dispose of the bodies or how are we required to dispatch them?
ah i see where it says how to dispatch them properly
That’s the way I understand it now as far as disposal the best thing would be to send an email to fish and wildlife.
