They are invasive and they are causing disruption to the environment. There is a laundry list of animals in Florida that they encourage you to kill, including burms and tegus.
I wonder if they allow for capture and re-domesticating (for lack of a better word) released animals? I am sure there are people crazy enough to want to go hunting for Tegus in Florida if they got to keep them!

They need to be removed. I am sure they would be ok with capture for pets too. Invasive species destroy the enviorment.

I stayed in Hollywood Florida for about three months on a job and THEY ARE EVERYWHERE… you will see them more than birds and they travel in packs…it’s rediculous
