Found a new little friend

I walked outside tonight and found this little guy he was only like 8 inches or so

I was about to ask the same. He’s hard to make our the head in the pictures. But I think it us.

No he is just a little gray rat snake I don’t think I’ve ever actually found a hoggie at my house before

Definitely a rat snake! Would be cool to find a wild hognose though!

I didn’t see rat snake at all. I suck at snake identification outside of northern ca lol

What a cutie! I found several little gray rat snakes last year, but none of them had your little buddy’s attitude. Gotta admire the chutzpah!
