Built lid. Its not anything fancy as i dont have a workshop and… probably not the right tools, but is pvc, it has 8 locks across it so that there are no flex points, and it has mesh for the heat to go through. However, the screws were slightly too long and i dont want to risk injury, so, im either going to get new hardware or a sanding disk to grind them down… and i havent decided which yet.

I don’t know anything about carpet pythons, but I love the natural looking setup. Is this going to be a full blown bio tank for your carpet?

Thats the intent, however reading up, apparently they are awful to plants xD so i dont think the plants are gonna exactly thrive, but im hoping at least the palm does OK
