So, question for those of you with multiple geckos….
What’s the way you mix your food? Do you do it weekly? And just have a batch in the fridge to feed them from? Do you do it each time you feed? Also, how do you actually mix it?
If you’re doing a larger batch, I find that some blends (I’m looking at you, fig and inspects) like to clump, and make it really hard to mix efficiently with the water.
Right now, I just measure it out and mix it each time I feed. But as I’ve got 4 mouths, and soon to be 3 more to feed, I’m wondering if there’s a better approach.
Gonna take the people I know off the top of my head that breed geckos to get your inputs.
I currently have 32 geckos, and i mix every time, i find it less wasteful, and also it doesn’t seem to be as palatable after a few days in the fridge - I haven’t fed Pangea in years though, idk if that one keeps better.
I only have 4 geckos but I mix up a small batch that will last for 3 or 4 days, just because I am lazy! I find it’s easier to mix it in a small container with warm water for just the right consistency. I feed Repashy, different flavors….
If you have tiny ice trays you can make tiny Gecko cubes!
