Okay! So, i just got my baby leo today. He is well cared for, has 3 hides, everything. My question is, why isnt he being active at night? Im assuming its because i just got him and hes still trying to get acclimated to his new enclosure. But if im missing something please tell me! I want my baby boy to be well cared for and happy.

It’s his first day. There’s a lot of new smells and sounds and places. Give him a few days and he should be fine.
If you leave a small dish out for him and add a couple of mealworms to it in the evening, once he settles in and gets a hang of the routine he should be coming out and looking for it.
It just takes a little time for these guys to know they aren’t going to get hurt or hunted. Once they learn that they can be pretty active when they know the big scaleless creature is going to create food for them

update: the baby is coming out more! I walked in to my room and he was out of his hides! He seems to be getting more comfortable by the day! Im so happy for the little guy!
