Giant Day Gecko behavior question

Hey everyone, first time Day Gecko owner here. I’ve had many other lizards thought my life including some smaller geckos so I’m not a total beginner but this is my first time owning a day gecko. My question is my day gecko spends all of its time on the glass on the sides and front of the tank. I feel like it should be exploring the enclosure more than it does. I have it in a 18x18x36 and I’ve got plenty of live plants for it to hide in and plenty of sticks and cork rounds for it to bask on but it spends all of time on the glass. Is this normal? The shop I got it from had it in a small 12x12x18 with not much for decor inside, I’m assuming for display porpoises for customers. Is this behavior that it is sticking to from its old enclosure? It’s eating fine and everything else seems to be normal so I’m just curious about the activity of the lizard. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
