Gringo my male? Chinese water dragon

Gringo my juvenile chinese water dragon seemingly getting some confidence back first he has puffed his throat to me when he usually cowers away or runs into hiding i think the quarantine tank is helping him im not worried about the throat puffing glad if anything i still stroked him, does any1 have a guess on male or female i have owned cwds before i think hes around 11 months old i think i was sold him when he was around a month old it was the size of nothing the man did not say how old it was just that it was this season, his growth has been stunted partly due to me moving him tanks several times an putting him in with my adult females who bullied him which stopped him basking eating and just hiding and getting chased constantly then we got a kitten that didnt help that he hid away from when he could see it outside the viv, hes been a lot more active and settled now in the quarantine tank that he doesnt have the stress apart from my head popping up because i have him stacked on top of my other viv near the ceiling so i think he feels more sure, i could be completely wrong and it could turn out female but i have my money on it that hes male and i will now start to see the growth and him develop the male features hes still growing i have a really big female and hes a gd bit bigger than her an shes 3yr old and i think his pores r more noticeable and just general shape i can see his crest and spine ridge starting to form like others i have owned when i was younger only they grew faster as they were in the same viv from i got them, time will tell for sure over the next few months and if hes deff male he will start showing, but if any1 wants to take a guess, i have seen lots online to that you can tell r deff male but i cant find a specific picture of an 11month old male cwd so i will just have to sweat it out an keep him in good health and isolated untill hes grown on a lot more an feeding and shedding well

He is definitely a he. So easy to tell with these guys because the males and females have such a different appearance mainly the spikes especially on his neck. Aye same as i was thinking they have a more prominent spinal bone running right along the ridge with some muscle either side that will allow for the larger spikes to eventually grow and his spikes also just a different shape in general i can see it seing him day to day some the stances he takes an its just different to my females an as you said jus good bit of growing and filling out to do, but hes really settled in the quarantine tank i dont disturb him to much just doing bit of work holding in tank and stroking him when im feeding and he will sit and watch from viv window when im watchn tv seing im no threat i just bring the food lol he never was skittish it was the females made him like that was bad choice and to soon on my part i should have known he would be dominated but ya learn lol
