Guess it's about time I said hi

hi, I’m Beth and have been perusing MorphMarket for several years. I started selling on MM a few years ago and specialize in Gekko vittatus (skunk geckos, white-lined geckos), but with any luck, will also be branching out into European Glass Lizards. I have several species of reptiles, from ball pythons to, well, European Glass Lizards. Other than that, I’m really not all too interesting

I volunteer as an educator with my local herp society, I vend a local expo every month and I walk 5K events throughout the warmer months for fun. Outside of reptiles, I also have 2 dogs and 3 cats and a couple of salamanders.

Pic of Maisie, one of my ambassadors, and me at an event back in October

Welcome~
It’s neat seeing someone working with an uncommon species in the hobby. I’d love if you pay the forum taxes with some photos!

Also, great shop name!

Matrix doing a terrible job convincing people they aren’t handleable

My large, outdoor enclosure for the glass lizards

and a couple of the Glass Lizards

And for good measure, Nedry

Also, thanks, the shop name was a joke forever ago because I run on caffeine and was called Liz at a previous job

Omg Nedry is perfect.

Great looking animals. White-Lined geckos were my first intro to geckos way back when, so it’s neat seeing someone working with them.

Love the Glass Lizard setup as well. I take it there’s a layer of mesh buried under there as well to make sure no one is getting in or out?

Welcome elizardbeth! You definitely have some uncommon animals there! I’m assuming you are in a fairly warm climate to be able to have such a great outdoor enclosure for those super cool glass lizards! :+1::star_struck:

I am located in Kentucky, USA so it’s pretty temperate. A lot of research went into setting them up outdoors to ensure they would withstand the climate. We have a bit of a broader temperature range than their native habitat, so some modifications and contingencies were added for safety.

There is mesh underneath. There’s actually a meshed in drainage layer, too. The enclosure is outfitted with a wyze camera and two combo meters that I can check from my phone

I vend a show in Clarksville every month! Are you familiar with it? If so, we may have met

Actually the only expo I have ever gone to is the Midwest Reptile Fair at the Indy fairgrounds……

But that would have been cool if we had met in Clarksville!
