Hardware store sprayer

Hello, I’ve recently been shopping around for a new sprayer/mister for my reptiles. I’ve seen several videos were people use the bigger pump style sprays that you might find at a hardware store. I like the idea of having a 2 gallon reservoir tank because I have more than 30 enclosures to do at a time. My concern is that they all have this prop 65 warning on them. Known to the state of California to cause cancer and what not. Is this something I should worry about?

Just going to say best misters we’ve ever had are mistkings

Prop 65 warnings get applied to almost everything these days. IF it is conceivable that someone could put something other than DI water into the sprayer, it must carry that warning. Except tobacco… in their infinite wisdom, the State has specifically protected tobacco products. Who could possibly imagine them to be carcinogenic?

As has been pointed out, everything has a prop 65 warning in CA. A notable example is, every restaurant in the state has them posted. We can’t even eat without ignoring a prop 65 poster.
