Hello, I found a great offer near me and I want opinions from people who know well

…So a friend sent me a photo about this listing and I’ve only had bearded dragons and green anoles in the past (currently 2 anoles) and no experience with crested geckos, but I sure have been reading and learning alot about them. Point is, is this a good deal? Is this really a tri color? Would it be a good idea to start with this guy? I currently am breeding dubias and crickets very well too. Any advice tips anything im open to it all thank you!

I have a Male Tri Color Crested gecko for adoption.

Beautiful male Halloween colored tri color boy. I have had him since he was a pinky size length.

He’s been paired once and is a proven breeder.

He comes with his enclosure, UVB light fixture with automatic timer, powdered gecko food (Pangea and repashy). His enclosure is bio active and has sprig tales and BEAUTIFUL orange cream isopods. (They were not cheap lol)

Not a halloween, but definitely a tricolour, he’s super pretty. But whether it’s a good deal depends on what you want him for? Do you want a pet? To breed? If you want to breed, what are you looking to produce morphwise?

That being said, I feel like 150 for a gecko + tank would be an ok deal even if the gecko was a pet only tbh. So unless you want to breed, but are looking to produce something completely different from him, it’s not a bad deal

Not sure what I would like to produce morphwise as I would just begin with geckos. I would not mind breeding him in the future as of now I certainly am breeding my anoles. Thanks for your opinion!

As a non breeder, I’d certainly be tempted by such a gorgeous fellow for $150, let alone including his home alongside it!
