I rescued two ball pythons that someone housed together they though they were both females after i got them and found out one was male other female i found the female had laid eggs i incubated the eggs but out of 5 only 2 survived so i need help identify both parents and babies
I would recommend sexing any animal regardless of origin when you receive it. Even breeders can be wrong at times, but it’s just a good habit to have. Probing is more accurate than popping. Shed testing them is the safest.
Without a pairing info it can be difficult to give accurate IDs. If you want to know all the ones and outs it will be best to just have them shed tested to remove most variables.
The first adult looks to have lesser and maybe pastel. It is not the best photo for ID with the lighting.
The second adult is a banana. You’ll need a full body photo to get a better ID but the color can hide some of the more subtle genes.
The banana baby also looks to have pastel.
The other baby is not a lesser like the one adult. Maybe a low grade pastel.
Without that pairing info for the parents it may be difficult to narrow down anything else.
Based on these pictures, one parent is pastel lesser calico (possibly something else) and the other parent is banana pastel (possibly something else as well).
