There’s a few crestie breeders on the forum that can maybe come in with more input on things…
Taking a look at this little one though, they look to have a good body condition. They don’t look like they’re missing meals or anything. As long as you’re giving some good quality food and the proper supplements, you should be fine. Powerfeeding is not something I would do.
Not every animal grows at the same rate as others. Genetically, this could just be a smaller gecko. Reptiles are also great at hiding issues they may have. The best we can do is just keep them as well as we can and keep them healthy.
It looks fine to me, like Armiyana said they tend to grow at vastly different rates. Their diet also plays a big role, a gecko that is fed solely Pangea w/o insects, and no live insects, won’t grow as fast as one that is fed live insects often, on top of a diet with insects in it. Even on the same diet it differs from gecko to gecko how they grow. Personally, i just feed an insect rich CGD and nothing else, and mine grow fairly consistently. But Ive had geckos that were anywhere from 5g to almost rtb at one year.
My “goal” is typically at least 8g at 1 year, but if they’re eating and growing consistently, whether they’re putting om 0.2g or 1g a month, it’s usually fine.
Thank you so much I was worried lol
