Help Identify Morph please

My new baby boy, no name as yet, the breeder could not say if he was Clown or Disco or both. I am curious to know if anyone can say any different. They also said that if I bred him with a plain/normal then I would not get a normal but some nice morphs.
I am not very familiar with all the terminology and very new to Ball Pythons and have never bred any.

I don’t think that’s correct at all…
Maybe there’s disco or cryptic/crypton… but definetly not clown.
There are some that may be better at identifying genetics offhand… If it is a cryptic, all of the babies would be het for cryptic. If it’s a crypton, all the babies would be het for clown or cryptic but either way would look normal on the outside.

Hopefully someone shows up with some more opinions on this one. I’d hate to be the bearer of bad news and only be partially correct.

Better photos… not in a ball. Top, sides, head, belly. For the best idea. Also not clown. Is there any known parent genes?

I agree with both @armiyana & @steelserpents not clown. Could very well be disco, looks like could be pastel as well to me. The thing is with disco, especially when pastel is in there too it can be hard to say disco or fire. To me fire disrupts the side patterns a little differently then disco so that’s why I am saying it is possibly a disco pastel(from that pic) but @steelserpents is right we need better pics to get a more accurate idea.

He is new to being handled as I only got him on Saturday plus it is pretty cold at the moment, 15C or 59F and takes a long time to unwind. I will persevere when the temps rise so that I can get better pics. I have asked the seller for parent information and will post the information as soon as I get it.

Do you not have a way to heat him? Like heat mats? Or lamps?

I do but when I take him out he goes into a ball, I imagine because he is not used to being handled. I am guessing when it is warmer outside of his terrarium he will loosen up quicker otherwise he will stay balled for up to an hour.

I do take him out to try to get him used to being handled.

Parent information would be key! Also since you just got him Saturday you may want to just let him get used to his new home, keep handling to a minimum until he settles in and eats for you. That could be another reason he is balling up every time you take him out, just not used to his new surroundings quite yet. Also make sure of course that the temperature is staying stable and where it needs to be for him. These things will all help him get comfortable asap.

It really looks pastel to me. And by the head and color, could be a fire complex. I just can’t tell you for sure, or what type. Fire is the most common so could be fire?

Ok so unfortunately there is no way to guarantee this at all but it looks similar to a pastel spotnose maybe with something else too. It’s a damn shoot though without knowing the parents.

Color on sides, pattern and head looks like my firefly, but the darker color on top and the side fading, has me puzzled.
