Hi all. We paired a female het albino to a male genetically banded het albino (not bred by us so we weren’t 100% on their morphs) these babies were the outcome… any ideas on what morphs they’re hiding or morphs of these beauties? Totally surprised, they weren’t what we were expecting at all!
Thanks in advance!

Definitely need to wait and see how they look when they shed for anything else.
But you also had het clown in the parents and I would want to double check the color after shed on the pale one before saying you had het axanthic.
There’s also a small chance that mom could have partho clutched though and maybe was the only multihet.

Thanks for your reply.
We were thinking the same definitely clown.
Does the albino seem clown to you too?
Definitely hoping for axanthic fingers crossed!
We do have a male albino tiger that came from the same breeder so maybe somethings crossed paths previously to cause it!
I’ll go out on a limb and say that one baby in the 3rd photo definitely looks Axanthic. Interesting! But I can’t say what line of Axanthic, without parent lineage or shed testing there’s no way to say for sure.
Parents are het Clown, and baby 1 is Clown. The 2nd baby may be Clown? The head pattern looks to show signs of the morph… but I can’t guarantee it is Clown based on that alone.
The 4th is difficult to judge because the baby shine is in the way. I’d wait to post more photos of them until after their first shed to see how their colors really look.
Do you have photos of the parents?

I’m confident that albino baby is a clown, it has no eye stripes. It’s worth testing your male for clown to see if you have a partho clutch. I also agree with Armiyana to wait for the first shed to see if it’s really axanthic. Did the parents both come from the same breeder?

Thank you all so much for replying. I can’t wait for them to shed! I’ll get some pictures up of mum and dad as soon as I can. We thought clown, albino clown, normal and axanthic. We were in such shock we wanted to double check with you guys! Such unexpected beauties!

It’s definitely an awesome surprise! And with that 5% chance for that double visual to hit as well (I wish it were me!
)
Just goes to prove how frustrating things can get. Especially in situations with a problematic mutations or in multiple incompatible lines like the axanthic in BPs. If someone had a het they just didn’t care to work with and bred it… that doesn’t stop the gene from passing along. Those possible hets can cause surprises like this further down the line.
