Hi im new to the hobby my uncle give me a leopard gecko and i don’t if my leopard gecko is good for breeding if it has right morph… Parents info are SHTCTB HET ECLIPSE HET BLIZZARD HET TREMPER both parents …please help me because there’s a brown pigmentation on the tail ang visuals of albino to its eyes
So personally I wouldn’t breed this gecko. There is no way currently to prove that they are het eclipse or het blizzard without breeding them to ideally an Eclipse Blizzard. SHTCT are line bred traits and this little guy is what I call pet quality. For reference, I picked up a very similar looking girl for $20 from a big box store almost 10 years ago.
Your gecko is albino. If you do want to consider breeding I would definitely do research and learn how to identify different morphs before you do.
As far as the CT part… I personally wouldn’t call this a CT. Maybe a CT cross. If there was no white or brown speckling between the two orange parts I would call it CT, but orange tail bases are very common in Super Hypos like this.
Breeding to prove out the Blizzard and Eclipse traits can make the line bred traits weaken over time. So with how oversaturated the leopard gecko market is I would consider learning care with this cutie before looking to more desirable geckos to breed
