Hi everyone!
I’m looking for help with identifying the morph of my two very first leopard gecko hatchlings. I’m a beginner breeder and would really appreciate your input!
Here are the genetics of the parents:
• Mother: Mack Snow Black Night het Diablo Blanco (so het Eclipse + Tremper Albino)
• Father: Mack Snow Eclipse Pied, 66% het Tremper Albino
I’ll attach photos of the hatchlings below.
One of them has full black eyes and strong banding, the other one is grey-is with perfect line on the back, both have black eyes, but I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks in advance for your help!

First off … Your female is not het Diablo Blanco if she is not carrying the Blizzard gene. At best she would be het RAPTOr, but sounds like just het 'tremper eclipse.
The downside is that you may need to hang onto these little guys for a while. Black Night is a line bred trait, not something they can transmit easily like a recessive or inc dom. It also takes a bit of time to develop the pigments as the little guys grow. Some factors also depend on the quality of the parents and with this being an outcross, you may not see many looking as good as your mom. The first gecko looks like they may darken up pretty well though.
As far as the babies themselves…
The first one is a Super Snow Black Night cross possible eclipse, possible het albino.
I’m not seeing exaggerated white markings on the nose or tail…and what is there could be partly because of the polygenic Black Night influences darkening the overall color. You may need to see how the color develops on this one.
Super Snows naturally have solid black eyes. It can also make it frustrating because some breeders assume they are eclipse and sell them as such. (Not the case with your male).
‘pied’ is the effects of eclipse on super snow…and as I mentioned, it doesn’t quite look like this little one is displaying that. So I believe this little one would be het eclipse, 50% het albino. But I’ll concede if someone who has worked with Pieds says otherwise.
Because you’re saying this little one has solid black eyes, it would be an eclipse. =)
This one is a mack snow eclipse Black Night cross possible het albino.
Unfortunately you haven’t proved out the 66% het with dad with these two…but if you hatch out a red eye baby on future clutches then congrats! It’s technically a 1:4 chance if he is het, so it can take a while if you’re unlucky.
