The mouse front leg isn’t folding back and our snake is stuck! I tried using the tweezers to break the leg but I can’t get a good grip. Do I try to remove the mouse? Its been about 45 minutes since he started eating

Interesting… Is it the angle that the mouse is being eaten? This was posted 30 minutes ago, is everything fine now?
Otherwise you could attempt to cut the leg off or twist it back forcefully.

I went in to try and twist it off and he backed off the mouse on his own. The leg must have dislocated and locked in a weird angle. We’ll just try again with a different mouse in a day or so.

First time for everything weird I guess I checked the mouse after I got it out of the cage and the leg was definitely sticking straight out… i feed frozen/thawed and it looked perfectly normal going in!

That’s so weird. I’ve never experienced anything like that before, but now I’m going to start checking the legs of my f/t rodents before feeding them, just to ensure I don’t have this problem.
