Pairing was vanilla x pewter blackhead mahogany poss YB. Pictures aren’t great for bellies/flaming. Hoping to buy one of these with blackhead and mahogany in the same animal, but Im worried there’s low expression cinnamon in the ones I want and maybe not mahogany with it (reduced eye stripe). Would love some help. Which has got both black head and mahogany?

pretty much agree with AK. Vanilla is really hard in a lot of combos even in person, so I’m not going to try using photos. With my Vanilla BH stuff it becomes very apparent what was(n’t) Vanilla after a year or two. A tip on BH IDs besides the very dark color/head, BH also has a strong narrowing effect on the eye stripes.
I also don’t work with Mahogany so take with a grain of salt but I think most likely
1 & 3 BH Cinny
2 BH Mahogany (out of all of them I think this one is most likely to have Vanilla)
4 Pastel Mahogany
5 Pastel BH

I think @akmorphs has guessed what I would have, I do think 3 and 4 could also have yb looks just too much for just those genes, maybe? 4 almost has a ringer as well which points me to yb and pastel both in that one. 5 looks like it could have something else, not sure if it vanilla instead of pastel or bh as well? Really crazy faded dorsal! A hard clutch to be sure on! Also a crazy beautiful clutch as well!

I think what is really throwing me off is the eye stripes. Several breeders (via you tube) suggest that the combo of black head mahogany will reduce the eye stripes… pretty much comparatively to animal 1 and 3, and many animals on morphmarket seem to support that, along with the very reduced contorted alien heads and slight chaining on the side patterning especially towards the tail. They also seem to maintain a fairly thickened but broken dorsal stripe many with the little cheerios that 1 has. BP and cinny combos that I’ve seen listed have way more chaining, but also have reduced (or absent) eyestriping and often thinner doral striping. @crypticoils-pythons does Vanilla mess with pattern? Could it be bringing that eyestripe back in and emphasizing #2’s dorsal?

Vanilla does very little, almost nothing, to pattern usually. Which is why it’s so hard to ID on photos where it’s impossible to know the color accuracy. It’s purely a subtle color morph in non-super forms.
It’s definitely possible that #2 is just a Vanilla Mahogany or Mahogany though since as you point out the eye stripes aren’t reduced as much as other examples. Also possible that none of them have both Mahogany and BH. #1 and 3 could be BH Mahogany I suppose, like I said I’m more familiar with Cinny/Black Pastel. But I don’t think they will be all 3.

The breeder thinks that 1 and 3 are black head cinny, and that 2 is a black head mahogany. I’m pretty new to morph IDs and I usually just research the ■■■■ out of what I want🤣, that being said cinnamon, black head , and mahogany all seem to be so polymorphic, and the combos even more so lol. I really just am hoping for both genes in one, but even the breeder said it was a hard ID. I would take 1 and 2 if I could justify the rack space, but to pick one … I wasnt certain 1 didn’t have mahogany, or that 2 has black head lol.

Thanks so much, I think the fact that you and others are seeing cinny in 1 and 3 clears a lot up for me… I agree that they are probably not all 3. I think #2 is probably my best shot, and with some blank alien heads, 
for mahogany with black head (that head looks dark).

Ok I was just curious. I am not a breeder but 2 just looks like it is something special morph wise but I don’t know morphs. But 2 just seems to have black head to me.
Btw, if I were you I’d make room…….
