When I was given him i was told he was an original python, but recently Ive been told he might be cinnamon. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to the community @joycemorrison2826! What you have there is a beautiful normal ball python! Normals are unique in a way that they can just have whacky patterns and come in different shades of brown (but still be normals).
