Hi I purchased a 75% super dwarf retic around 4 months ago and I couldn’t be happier with him but I’m having difficulty in trying to confirm his morph
The pairing was a 87.5 SD het purple Dam and a 62.5 SD Coral albino sire
He was sold as a lavender and all the genetic calculators I’ve put the pairing in says he should be a purple
But in my very limited experience with retics morphs he doesn’t look like a purple or a lavender his colours are a lot more intense and he has orange eyes and his purple colour is quite deep
I hope you can get a proper view of his colour and could any experienced retics owners confirm what he is for me please

As a heads up… Feeding videos and photos are a no here.
As far as your little one…Looks like a lavender albino to me.
So the coral is a caramel and white albino. Which is an allelic combo. All of the babies from the sire are caramel or white albino.
Lavender albino is an allelic combo of white and purple albino. So because Mom was het purple and dad was het white, you got a lavender.
As far as the eyes go, the orange eyes happen in lavenders and purples. Whites will have the more red and pink because they’re lacking the more orange tones.
Here’s a a photo of my white albino for comparison

That’s great thanks for the confirmation he’s a lavender and the explanation as to why certainly makes things clearer from my point of view
I have removed the feeding video honestly didn’t think when I posted it that it would get flagged so now I know for future

I agreed with armiyana yours is lavender albino. Here are some old pictures of my purple albino as a baby and as an adult. His name was SpongeBob.

That’s a nice pic of baby and adult it really shows the colour change as they age
Thanks for posting
I also have female 93.75 SD het anery het purple so all’s still good regards to the future
Kai the male is 5 months old and Luna is 7 months and she’s tiny compared to Kai a good 1/3 the size smaller but she is in great shape and eats like a trooper
So hopefully we should have very small babies one day if she keeps the small size into adulthood
Just out of curiosity what will the lavender x normal het anery pos het purple make ?
Depends on whether or not the normal is actually het purple. If not, they’d all be 50% het anery, het purple or het white.
If she is het purple, odds are about half the resultant offspring will have the previously mentioned genetics, about one quarter would be Lavender Albino 50% het anery, and the final quarter would be Purple 50% het anery.
