Lol! Thank you! He is extremely laid back for a young little lad! I have kept my hands off him for about 3 weeks now to get him established. He is eating well and had his first shed so I thought “why not?”

He was wrapped around my fingers the whole time just looking at me until I put him back in his house. It was actually pretty cool :sunglasses:!

Awwww. :heart_eyes:Howard is adorable! He makes me want one! I love his little face.

How did you choose his name?

Thank you! I try to name my new babies either after where they came or from whom they came from. In his case, I named him after his breeder.

It may sound a bit strange but this way they all get names quickly and I can associate them from where they came from, which are places pretty much all over the US!

But actually he kind of looks like a “Howard” anyway…… lol!

That’s a fun strategy. I’m always interested in how people choose names. Howard works!

He looks like a good Howard. He’s absolutely adorable. Nothing like a little ball python puppy face! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Actually I have never had a BP that is so settled/clingy! Which I love! Usually after a little while they start looking for a place to retreat. Not Howard! He was seemingly settled for the night!

He is adorable! Reminds me of my “normal” (probably YB or Enchi, hard saying) that I took in from a college girl who was moving. Thing was tiny and underweight, stuck shed.

But I got her back to health, hydrated, and growing - and she was so dang cute! Made me fall in love with BPs, especially as I got her less and less afraid.

I mostly have boas but would love to have a BP clutch, just to do it. All because I said “I have snakes and can take her” to a FB post lol.

That was a noble thing to do! Sounds like she was in need of a lot better home! I am a firm believer that absolutely nothing happens without a purpose/reason! I saw Howard on MM and I just bought him on a “whim”. His little puppy face is bringing smiles. Now you are reminded of your little BP girl! Are there bps in your future as a result? Probably! lol

Thank you for the kind words and the happy story! I have to say that I am becoming quite fond of bps!
