I still pinch myself after consigning the cover artwork for my book, A Passionate Journey with Short-tailed Pythons, I never really expected how great the painting would turn out nor expected to acquire it for my own from James Krause of 4th Point Artistry. It’s been a year now since I first lay eyes on it. Now I see it daily and awed no less!
Keeping and breeding has its rewards, but do nut underestimate the appeal of all the peripheral experiences herpetoculture brings to our lives: friendships, field herping, literature, art, and the community in general.
