Hey guys my beardie have been puffing and then contracting his beard in quick succession, he”s only every head bobbed at me once (which he was not doing the puffing thing) and his beards not black is he just stretching it? Or is that a sign of aggression? I will try get it on video as soon as possible, thanks!
Most likely a defense mechanism, he might not be used to interactions. It will take some time for your dragon to get used to you since it was not a baby when you got him. Be consistent with your handling but also pay attention to his signs of stress/discomfort. Our adult male bobbed his head a lot as he matured so its nothing to worry about. He was a nice looking dragon.
