Super nice, all of them. The markings on the second snake’s face are charming. Kinda like a blaze on a horse. ![]()
If Harley Davidson ever had an official snake that top one would be it!
They have never musk us. But they are very jumpy and as fast moving. But they do calm down 2 to 5 minutes after being out.
They must not be babies?
No they are not babies some are a few years old and others are older.
Ok then that explains for the most part why they don’t musk
I want to get one so bad. I love the colors ![]()
Milk snake colors are very bright and pretty, for sure. ![]()
This little girl escaped 17 days ago. Found her in the utility closet in my garage. So she made it out of my house this time.
Saw her out of the corner of my eye when I was leaving to go to the store. My garage is attached to my house but I do live in a forest next to the national park. If she would have got out of the garage she would have been long gone. At lest there are lots of mice and chipmunks around my home for her.
This is her second time escaping. The first time she escaped was 10/24/21 to 12/26/21, which is 64 days. My son bought her on 10/10/21. So he only had her for 14 days. My oldest son found her in the middle of the snake room / rec room in the evening.
Well, she is back in her cage form now.
I will let her settle in and feed her this weekend. Each time she escaped, my son was cleaning her cage, and she took off. She is very fast when she wants to be. Now I know why I like boas better. They are not nearly as fast as honduran’s. ![]()
Well she is a pretty thing! Glad she is safe, the little Houdini!
No that’s Honduran! ![]()
Goodness. I think it’s fortunate for her that you spotted her. There may be lots of good eating in the woods around your home, but those bright colors might get her noticed as a potential snack.
