My Hottentotta Franzwerneri with a fresh molt to 3i. Wow just wow is all i can say about just how amazing she/he is looking and will just get better woth each molt.

The Parabuthus Villosus Orange will look nicer as time goes on. Seems like this and the Hottentotta are slow growers.

I know it’s old now, but I somehow missed the nice comparison shot. How long will they remain 3i?

They take about 3 years to reach i7/i8 food, heat and good environment dictates their growth. It took months just to get to i3 so I’d imagine it will be months more to i4.

I see. (Sorry about “3i” instead of “i3.” I’m only conversational in arachnid, not fluent.) Do their colors change during the time in each instar, or only when they molt?

With each instar they develop more colors.
