I have had my female corn snake Lily for the past 7 years. She has lived in our main living area. We recently adopted a 2 year old male corn (Ducky). My question to the group is can I house them in the same room. He has his own enclosure and is thriving. I just don’t want to stress either one of them.

Welcome! Yeah, that’s completely fine. It may make the male a bit more active in spring, but that can be fun to watch. ![]()

Hahaha. They’re pretty civilized though. No catcalls or wolf whistles. Sometimes a polite tap on the tub.
Is that like “Knock 3 times on the ceiling….?”
Agreed that it’s totally fine. Most corn snake breeders have quite a few corns of opposite sexes living in the same room.
I also wanted to let you know your picture didn’t finish uploading before you hit post.

Welcome to our community! Yup, third vote for being totally fine to have them in the same room. Which is fortunate, because I have many more snakes than I have rooms!
I thought so. Just wanted to reach out and get some thoughts. My female is the crazy one in the spring. She drives me nuts. Thanks for the responses.
