I am a breeder of South Western reptiles. I mainly keep snakes but I want to get some more lizards. I especially love chuckwallas as I grew up in New Mexico hearing stories about people visiting Arizona and seeing massive lizards unlike anything we had near us. From that a fascination has sparked in me for chuckwallas. I was thinking about getting a large 8’x4’x4’ enclosure to keep a pair in, but do you think a breeding pair could coexist in the same enclosure without getting excessively aggressive? I’m sure not a lot of people have experience with chuckwallas, but if anyone does it would be helpful.
